se situe en Auvergne, au cœur de la plus grande chaine de volcans (endormis)
d’Europe; Cette ville de 150 000 habitants est devenue célèbre grâce à la
famille Michelin qui fonda l’usine de pneus du même nom, mais aussi grâce à un
certain Monsieur ... Valery Giscard d’Estaing, ancien maire de Clermont-Ferrand
et surtout président de la République française de 1974 à 1981. Les français se
souviennent de sa dernière allocution télévisée et de son fameux « au
revoir ».
Situé dans le Parc Régional
des Volcans d’Auvergne, le parc Vulcania, creusé dans la roche volcanique, est
au ¾ sous-terrain avec une architecture
à la fois moderne et discrète pour s’intégrer au mieux dans son environnement.
Dès l’arrivée dans le parc, le cône et cratère mettent les

The Auvergne region, once an enclave, now tries to attract tourists, especially with the creation of Vulcania, a unique kind of theme park, in 2002. Situated in the Regional Park of the Auvergne Volcanos, the Vulcania park is dug into the volcanic rock and is 3/4 underground with a modern but discrete architecture which blends into the landscape.
As soon as you arrive in the park, the sight of the cone and the crater creates a volcanic atmosphere. Visitors then experience a terrestrial adventure including different attractions and animations as the whole family become explorers.
