In addition, the temperature around the Mazamet area was only around 14-15 degrees C.
Not much in the way of sights to show you given the grey sky, but plenty of evidence of the extreme rainfall in the area with many flooded fields.
Surprise Surprise when I reached Toulouse - at Renaud and Anne's place, Laurence was there waiting for me having taken a plane from Nice in the morning. She spent some time in the afternoon with Auguste, one of her friends from her Business School days in Toulouse. 
PS Apparently my Pilou Pilou in English didn't bring any luck to RC Toulon, who we watched lose to Castres in the Top 14 final
